Research focus
Dr. Johnson's work focuses on translational models of bipolar disorder and unipolar depression. More specifically, she is interested in how reward sensitivity and emotion-related impulsivity predict the onset and course of disorder, and key outcomes within disorder.

Adult bipolar disorder; anger and aggression among those with emotion-related impulsivity
